This is Shanna Madison.
Shanna grew up in historic Butte, Montana. She began experimenting with photography during her sophomore year of high school. From there, things only got better.
Currently, you'll find her working in Astoria, Oregon as their staff multi-media journalist.
She graduated from the University of Montana in December 2022 with a bachelors degree in Photojournalism. After documenting the Big Sky country through college and serving as the University of Montana's photography intern, she packed up and moved across the country to Chicago, Illinois for a six-month long spring internship with the Chicago Tribune.
Shanna has a knack for relationship-building and loves to meet new people. She finds genuine joy in connection with others, an attribute that greatly enhances her work. Outside the newsroom, you'll find her enjoying all the beautiful outdoor recreation that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, or cozying up on a rainy coastal day with a good book.
